Who we are

What we collect, and why

When you send the quote form we receive your name, phone number, email address, the suburb of the job, the service you chose and anything you type in the message box. We use it for one thing: to call or email you back about the job, quote it, and, if you go ahead, do the work and invoice it.

When you call or email us we keep the number or address you contacted us from, and the notes we make about the job, for the same reason.

Automatically: like almost every website, this one uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It records your device type, rough location (city level), the pages you view and which button you tapped to call us. It does not tell us who you are. We do not run advertising trackers, remarketing pixels or social-media plugins on this site.

Spam protection: the quote form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a real person, not a script, is sending it. Turnstile processes technical details of your browser to make that decision under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Who your details go to

Your form submission is emailed to Api at Aps Tree Removal. The email is delivered by Postmark (a transactional email service) and the website itself is hosted on Cloudflare. Both hold data only long enough to deliver or serve it, and neither may use it for anything else. Our website is built and maintained by Boostable, who may see enquiries while supporting the site and are bound by the same rules. We do not give your details to anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails and job notes are kept while we are dealing with your job and for the period Australian tax and record-keeping rules require for invoices (generally five years). Analytics data is kept for 14 months, the Google Analytics default, and is anonymous.

Your choices

• You can ask what details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email [email protected] or call 0422 856 090 and we will do it within a few days.
• You can block analytics with a browser extension such as Google’s own opt-out add-on; the site works exactly the same without it.
• You never have to use the form. You can simply call.

Cookies

We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics sets its usual measurement cookies (_ga, _ga_*) on the live site; Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived cookie while it checks the form. That is the full list.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. Form submissions travel encrypted from your browser to our email. We do not store your details in any database on this website.

Reviews

The reviews shown on this site are real reviews left publicly by customers on Google and hipages, shown with the name and rating they published there. If you left one and would like it taken off this site, tell us and we will remove it.

Complaints and changes

If you think we have handled your details badly, contact us first and we will sort it out. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. We will update this page if the way the site works changes; the date at the top tells you when.
